What Is Included in the Service?

During your scheduled service visit, one of our experienced engineers will carry out a comprehensive inspection and maintenance check of your pergola, awning or retractable roof system. The service is designed to help ensure that all key components are operating correctly and to identify any signs of wear, damage or potential issues.

Inspection & Maintenance Includes:

• General visual inspection of the structure and surrounding area, including the removal of any leaves, branches or other foreign objects that may affect operation.
  
• Inspection of the movement area to ensure there are no obstacles preventing the safe operation of the system.
  
• Drainage inspection, including checking that drainage channels and outlets are clear of leaves, debris and other obstructions.
  
• Cover and roof tension checks to help ensure correct positioning and effective water drainage.
  
• Cleaning of cover side edges and drainage areas to support the proper discharge of rainwater.
  
• Inspection for moisture, water damage or insect activity within relevant drainage and structural areas.
  
• Inspection for frost or weather-related damage.
  
• Transmission belt tension check, where applicable.
  
• Inspection of sensors, automated controls and safety systems, ensuring components are clean, secure and functioning correctly.
  
• Lubrication of relevant moving components, including the driving runners on retractable blade pergola systems, using appropriate specialist lubricants where required.
  
• Inspection for corrosion, deterioration or other visible signs of damage to structural and mechanical components.
  
• Electrical system inspection, including visible checks of wiring, connectors, junction boxes, control units and electrical components located close to moving mechanical parts.
  
• Maintenance and inspection of moving mechanical components to help ensure smooth and reliable operation.
  
• Checking and tightening of relevant fixings and connections, where required.
  
• Inspection of guide tracks and sliding mechanisms, including internal checks of the cassette, roller and associated components where accessible.
  

Please Note

• This service visit covers inspection, routine maintenance and preventative checks only. It does not include the cost of repairs, replacement parts or additional remedial work.
  
• If any faults, damage or worn components are identified, we will advise you of the issue and provide a separate quotation for any recommended repairs or replacement parts.
  
• Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your service appointment.

IMPORTANT: A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for any cancellation or changes to a booked service appointment. Failure to provide the required notice may result in the full service fee being charged.
